Neo-Dadaisme Under indflydelse af Marcel Duchamps ready-mades og
komponisten John Cage, der gav Rauschenberg ideen om at
agere i kløften mellem kunst og liv, skabte de to unge
amerikanske malere Robert Rauschenberg og Jasper Johns
omkring 1954 en ny kunstnerisk retning, der var i klar
opposition til den herskende abstrakte ekspressionisme.
Neo-Dadaism
Influenced by Marcel Duchamp's ready mades and the composer John Cage who gave Rauschenberg the idea of t acting in the gap between art and life, the two young American painters Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns created around 1954 a new artistic school the Neo-Dadaism, being in distinct opposition to the ruling Abstract Expressionism.
